for Grindstone Lake
RUSS data from Grindstone Lake has been summarized to show
the average values of the measured parameters in the lake's
surface layer on each day.
Currently the RUSS unit is limited to an uppermost sampling
depth of about 0.7 meters. Typically, we will average values
for 1, 2, and 3 meters to calculate the mean "surface water" value.
The depth range was chosen based on examination of the mixed
layer depth from soon after ice-out through June 1998.
