Water Quality

In addition to the data collected by RUSS and SMU units, water quality is also measured periodically by field staff both for quality assurance comparisons and to fill in data gaps when automated sensors are off-line. Water is also collected periodically during the year and analyzed in the lab for parameters such as chloropyll, nutrients, and total suspended solids.
